Troy Prom

I gotta say, right next to wedding DJs, proms are one of my favorite times of the year. Every may Encore celebrates with dozens of school districts across the state. The best part about Proms are the high energy atmosphere. Students really appreciate the live mixing format we deliver. There is something special about rocking of room filled with 1000+ people. It has a warm fuzzy feeling to it.

Encore Party DJs did the prom DJ and photo booth for Milford’s High School’s Troy Prom. They held the high school dance at Petruzello’s of Troy. This venue is known their exquisite food and their attention to detail. They have 2 main rooms and can fit up to 700 guests in their ballroom. It is conveniently located on Rochester Rd. minutes from the freeway. We have done many weddings over the years at this hall, and know the best locations to setup our lighting fixtures. We fit the photo booth in the same room as the party. The location of the booth is very important. If you hide the photo booth in a hallway or out of sight from guests, then they might forget there is even one there. We recommend that you keep your booth close to the dance floor and main beverage area. This ensures you get the maximum amount of use from your rental.

It was really cool, because Sam (one of our talents) graduated from Milford High School. He got the chance to prove himself in-front of his alma mater. We were able to get him up behind the mixer to throw down a couple of sets when the party was rocking. I remember seeing him get high fives from some of the chaperones. He put on quite a show for everyone! Our mixes were dead-on, songs transitioned nicely between sets, and photo booth stayed busy all night long. We honestly got too many great photos from the night between the dance floor and booth.

They had a Prom court and we assisted the committee with organizing the formality. Traditionally, we will play a song in the background while the court is introduced. After the Prom king and queen are announced it is time to go into their song. About halfway through this dance we will invite the rest of the students. From there it is a good time to play the senior class song.
